I have called this group of fakes “year span” because the common trait for this fake is for two years to be printed on to the label which something not seen any any genuine Gasplane.

The labels on these fakes can be found with different dates and manufacturer codes. The examples shown have the military letter code a g d which is the code used by Deutsche Linoleum-Werke. Fortunately there are two original a g d examples on this site shown here and here which means a comparison between a genuine Gasplane and a fake purporting to be from the same manufacturer can be shown.
