The pouch in this example is dated 1943 and represents a later type example made of cloth rather than rubberised fabric seen on early war pouches. Above the date, the manufactures assigned code: g d v is visible.
The cape is dated December 1942 and is different to earlier examples. It is made from a material that is probably Oppanol and is noticeably heavier and bulkier than other Gasplane. The Tp\Ark markings indicate this is Gasplane is suitable for tropical or arctic environments. Of interest is the coloured square the purpose of which showed where the cape should be held when being deployed.
